Job summary

Talently seeks an ERP Support Analyst to support a Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC environment and assist with a migration to Dynamics 365 Business Central. The role partners with accounting, operations, IT, and project management to improve system reliability and user adoption.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience with NAV versions 3.x–2009.
• Strong knowledge of financial, operational, and job costing modules.
• Experience with customized NAV/Business Central environments.
• Proficiency with Object Designer.
• Experience with Project Pro and Payroll NOW or Serenic Payroll.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Background in accounting or business administration or related field.

• Provide day-to-day end-user support across GL, Job Costing, Field Service Management, Purchasing and Payables, Sales and Receivables, Inventory Management, and Payroll modules.
• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues across NAV/BC environments.
• Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close and reporting processes.
• Analyze, document, and resolve ERP issues with business users and IT to identify root causes.
• Participate in testing, validation, and rollout activities for upgrades, integrations, and software enhancements.
• Develop user documentation and assist with training to improve adoption and process consistency.
• Support ERP onboarding for acquisitions, including data migration, system configuration, and end-user training.
• Collaborate with IT, accounting, operations, and project management teams to promote system reliability and continuous improvement.

Must-Have Skills:

• Four or more years of hands‑on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, preferably versions 3.x through 2009.
• Strong working knowledge of financial, operational, and job costing modules.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting customized NAV or Business Central environments.
• Proficiency with Object Designer.
• Practical experience with Project Pro and Payroll NOW, or comparable payroll solutions such as Serenic or Sylogist Payroll.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Background in accounting, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Microsoft Dynamics certification in NAV or Business Central.
• Experience supporting ERP upgrades, integrations, and software enhancement rollouts.
• Experience with acquisition onboarding, data migration, and ERP configuration.
• Knowledge of construction, job costing, field service, or project-based business operations.
• Experience creating training materials and delivering cross-functional end-user training.
