Job summary

OEC seeks an ERP Finance Systems Analyst to bridge Finance, Accounting, and Technology, improving our ERP environment by partnering with stakeholders to optimize processes, gather requirements, and deliver system enhancements.

Ideal candidates have strong Finance/process knowledge and hands-on ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics NAV is preferred, with Business Central, Dynamics GP, or Serenic Navigator also considered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business systems analysis, ERP application support, or related role.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes including GL, AP, AR, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Hands-on ERP applications experience: requirements, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, user support.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to translate business needs into ERP solutions.
• Support ERP configurations, workflows, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements.
• Gather and document requirements and collaborate with IT, developers, and vendors.
• Support Finance and Accounting processes including GL, AP, AR, purchasing/procurement, financial reporting, reconciliations.
• Lead or support functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Troubleshoot application and data issues, perform root cause analysis, deliver sustainable solutions.
• Create process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Support ERP upgrades, integrations, data migration, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role will support and continuously improve our ERP environment by partnering with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to improve processes, troubleshoot issues, gather requirements, and deliver system enhancements.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Finance and Accounting processes combined with hands‑on ERP business systems experience. Microsoft Dynamics NAV is preferred, but experience with other Microsoft Dynamics platforms, including Business Central, Dynamics GP, or Serenic Navigator, will also be considered.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to understand processes, identify improvements, and translate business needs into ERP solutions.
• Support ERP configurations, enhancements, workflows, troubleshooting, and ongoing application improvements.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, including GL, AP, AR, purchasing, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience supporting ERP applications, including requirements, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and user support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively partner with Finance/Accounting users, technical teams, and vendors.
• Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, or data migrations is a plus.
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience preferred. Business Central, Dynamics GP, Serenic Navigator, or comparable ERP experience will also be considered.
• Experience with SQL, reporting, or data analysis is a plus.
