Responsibilities

• Lead financial discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
• Analyze and document current-state and future-state financial processes.
• Provide strategic recommendations aligned with sound accounting and implementation practices.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and develop solution design documentation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to finance leaders, controllers, and CFOs.
• Configure and implement General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and related financial modules in BC.
• Support data migration, integrations, and third-party solution implementations.
• Develop test scripts and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Lead end-user training, administrator training, and knowledge-transfer activities.
• Support go-live planning, production cutover, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system utilization.

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Consultant to join our consulting team. This individual will serve as both a trusted business advisor and a hands‑on implementation consultant, helping clients transform financial operations through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The ideal candidate has at least five years of ERP implementation consulting experience, with a strong focus on financial management, accounting processes, and Business Central solution delivery. This client‑facing role requires both strategic advisory skills and the ability to execute successful implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
• Analyze and document current-state and future-state financial processes.
• Provide strategic recommendations aligned with sound accounting and implementation practices.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and develop solution design documentation.

Solution Design and Implementation

• Configure and implement General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Bank Reconciliation, Dimensions, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, and multi‑entity or intercompany functionality.
• Support data migration, integrations, and third‑party solution implementations.
• Develop test scripts and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Lead end‑user training, administrator training, and knowledge‑transfer activities.
• Support go‑live planning, production cutover, and post‑implementation stabilization.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system utilization.

Client Engagement

• Manage client expectations, assigned workstreams, and project deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation experience.
• 5+ years of ERP consulting experience in a client‑facing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, month‑end close, financial reporting, budgeting, multi‑company, and intercompany accounting.
• Experience leading discovery workshops, requirements sessions, fit‑gap analysis, and solution design.
• Excellent presentation, communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to consult on business process improvements and perform hands‑on configuration and implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI, financial reporting tools, ISV solutions, and system integrations.
• Public accounting, controller, or finance leadership experience.
