Job summary

In-N-Out Burger is hiring a Software Support Engineer I in Irvine, CA to join the IT Business Systems team. The role focuses on frontline ERP software support, troubleshooting, and real-time issue resolution for store systems and internal departments.

You may develop updates and train users on internal software products and will report to the ERP Development Supervisor. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 1+ year of tech support or software development experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Business or Engineering preferred
• 1+ year of experience in software development, programming, technical support, or quality assurance (preferred)
• Understanding of PowerShell, Windows desktop operating systems
• Experience in business processes related to HR, payroll, accounting, and inventory (preferred)
• Basic proficiency in software/tools: Microsoft Office, PowerShell, VS Code, GitHub, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Oracle VBS, Oracle Cloud

Responsibilities

• Train in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, basic Linux commands, and Cloud Development Platforms
• Document issues and solutions, generate reports, and maintain documentation
• Identify issues that require escalation and route them to the appropriate parties for resolution
• Provide user training on networks, systems, and applications
• Function as the point of contact ensuring software is online, maintained, and functioning
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues
• Use best practices and collaborate across teams as needed to meet store and support needs
