Job summary

Ideal Aerosmith is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Data Specialist to support the Supply Chain team with data entry, supplier quotes, and ERP activities. The role focuses on accurate purchasing information and efficient material flow across the organization.

The role requires organization, ability to work with multiple sources, and willingness to handle accounting-related entry tasks. Prior data entry or purchasing experience is preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or coursework preferred.
• Experience in data entry, administrative support, accounting, purchasing, inventory control, or related roles preferred.
• Experience with ERP, inventory, or business systems preferred.
• Manufacturing environment experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and obtain a passport.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent resident, or protected individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

• Enter supplier quotes, pricing, and other purchasing information into the ERP system accurately.
• Assist Buyers with data entry, documentation, and transactional purchasing activities.
• Review purchasing and material information for completeness and accuracy; identify missing or inconsistent data for follow‑up.
• Support Inventory Control by pulling and preparing materials for production jobs based on requirements and system data.
• Assist with processing a high volume of open jobs and material transactions.
• Perform inventory and ERP transactions to maintain accurate records.
• Organize and maintain purchasing documentation, quotes, and related information.
• Gather and compile information for Buyers, Inventory Control, Accounting, Manufacturing, and other teams.
• Research ERP system data and supporting docs to resolve routine discrepancies or missing information.
• Follow established purchasing, inventory, and documentation procedures.
• Support projects, backlog reduction, data cleanup, and other administrative needs.
