Job summary

Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) seeks a Functional Expert in Payroll to oversee the ERP HCM Talent Management Program from design through steady state operation. Plan, develop, and implement multi-jurisdictional payroll policies and procedures for the payroll area of the Program.

Collaborate with program leadership to coordinate payroll module implementation and ongoing support, ensuring compliance across agencies.

Qualifications

• Requires four years of college coursework in business or public administration.
• Four years of progressive payroll experience in a complex, regulated environment.
• Experience coordinating payroll across multiple agencies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ERP Functional Expert - Payroll for the DoIT payroll program lifecycle.
• Coordinate and control payroll module implementation and ongoing support.
• Participate in implementation and production support within the program's structure.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the payroll domain.
