Job summary
Interactive Resources - iR is seeking an ERP Modernization Architect to help evolve a legacy IBM i (AS/400) ERP environment. This role maximizes the existing system's value while introducing modern technologies and automation strategies.
You will work closely with an RPG development team to design solutions and lead UI modernization efforts, contributing directly to architecture and strategy. Strong programming experience and familiarity with B2B integrations required.
Qualifications
- Strong experience building integration or overlay solutions using modern programming languages.
- Proven expertise designing and implementing RESTful APIs and system integrations.
- Experience with B2B integrations (EDI, API-based connectivity, or iPaaS platforms).
- Familiarity with IBM i (AS/400) environments and DB2 databases.
Responsibilities
- Partner with ERP development teams to identify and shape enhancements aligned to business needs.
- Design solutions outside the ERP when native functionality falls short.
- Lead architecture for UI modernization efforts.
- Architect and develop ERP-to-ERP and B2B integrations.
