Job summary

Proxemics Consulting seeks an Inventory Control professional to maintain accurate inventory levels and support replenishment processes. The role requires monitoring cycles, coordinating with Production Control and Purchasing, and leveraging ERP systems to ensure timely availability of materials.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a production/inventory control role.
• Experience with inventory software and ERP systems.
• Experience engaging technical/manufacturing teams.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage time to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain material and stocked product inventory including profiles and locations.
• Monitor releases, EDI and emails to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Clear communication with Inventory Hub, Production Control and Purchasing on inventory levels and locations.
• Monitor scheduled inventory cycle counts.
• Utilize ERP system to monitor inventory levels.
• Keep accurate records of inventory levels and location for easy retrieval.
• Provide accurate data to Production Control to assist in daily scheduling.
• Track distribution of inventory and monitor min/max levels.
• Monitor offsite warehouse inventory and transactions.
• Conduct a daily audit of inventory.
• Provide routine management information on inventory performance; using system reports.
• Ensure late materials are chased and received.
• Maintain disposal and transfer records.
• Good written and verbal communication with internal resources.
