University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking an ERP Pillar Lead to own end-to-end integration architecture for the ERP Forward portfolio. You will govern Boomi, ERP-native tools, and Azure API governance, ensuring a coherent landscape across about 250 planned integrations.
Lead the integration development team through all phases, define delivery standards, and coordinate with MUHC IT resources. Salary range listed; project-funded with potential post-go-live roles.
The ERP Integrations Lead serves as Pillar Lead for UM’s roughly 250-integration ERP Forward portfolio on a 50/50 workshare with the System Integrator (SI) partner. This role owns end-to-end integration architecture and delivery across UM’s enterprise tool stack: Boomi (selected enterprise iPaaS), Oracle Integration Cloud or Workday Studio (ERP-native integration), Azure API Management and Azure API Center (API governance layer), PeopleSoft Integration Broker (legacy source), and Oracle Database as the underlying data platform for PeopleSoft and potentially Oracle Fusion.
UM has selected Boomi as our enterprise iPaaS platform. The Integrations Lead will govern the integration architecture across Boomi, ERP-native tools, and Azure API governance — ensuring a coherent, maintainable integration landscape that supports ERP go-live and long-term operational sustainability.
Define and own the end-to-end integration architecture for ERP Forward, governing how Boomi (enterprise iPaaS), Oracle Integration Cloud/Workday Studio (ERP-native), and Azure API Management/API Center (API governance layer) are used together across roughly 250 planned integrations. Establish Boomi delivery standards for UM: naming conventions, packaging, deployment procedures, connection management, Atom configuration (cloud vs. local Atoms for DCL3/4 data), logging, error handling, scheduling, and operational runbooks — building on the patterns established in the Boomi PowerCenter migration engagement.
Govern Azure API Management (APIM) and Azure API Center (APIC) as the API governance/discovery layer, decoupled from Boomi iPaaS, for enterprise API lifecycle management, catalog maintenance, and security policy enforcement. Define ERP-native integration standards for Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) adapters (REST, SOAP, File, FBDI/HDL, ERP Cloud adapter) or Workday Studio/EIB/Core Connectors, and govern how these complement vs. replace Boomi for ERP-specific interfaces. Ensure all integration patterns comply with UM System DCL1–4 data classification requirements, with local Boomi Atom deployment for DCL3/4 data processing.
Lead the integration development team (UM Integration Developers, MUHC Integration Developer, SI partner developers) through Plan, Architect & Configure, Test, Deploy, and Support phases. Review and approve integration technical design documents, Boomi process designs, OIC integration flows, EIB/Studio specifications, data mapping documents, and API contracts. Coordinate MUHC-specific integrations (Oracle/Cerner or Epic EHR, healthcare-specific HR/Finance interfaces) with the MUHC IT resources and leadership.
Coordinate with the Data & Analytics Lead to ensure Boomi and OIC/Studio integration outputs feed Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Power BI pipelines correctly. Partner with the Security/IAM Lead to enforce DCL1–4 data classification, OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect authentication, and data masking requirements on all Boomi and ERP-native integration flows. Represent the Integrations pillar in Steering Committee updates, cross-workstream sessions, and SI partner design reviews.
This is a project-funded position aligned with the ERP Forward program timeline. All employment and pay decisions reflect UM System job architecture and compensation philosophy, including the ERP Salary & Wage Guidelines approved by the ERP Steering Committee. Opportunities for post-go-live support roles exist for strong performers.
