Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an Integration Engineer to enable fast and reliable ERP integrations, collaborating with customer teams and our backend engineers to ensure smooth data exchange via APIs and webhooks.

You will contribute to the backend (Java/Kotlin), support architecture discussions, testing, and go-live activities while tackling complex, multi-system integration challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala).
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and/or webhooks in distributed systems.
• Able to debug issues end-to-end using logs, payloads, and system traces.
• Solid understanding of data synchronization concepts (polling, event-driven flows, retries, idempotency).
• Familiar with SAP data structures (IDocs) and ERP/Middleware architectures.
• Experience with SAP environments (ECC, S/4HANA), middleware, or enterprise IT landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Enable integrations between our platform and customers' ERP systems.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams and internal engineering, Product, and Customer Success.
• Contribute to backend (Java/Kotlin) to improve APIs and webhooks.
• Own integration topics end-to-end: architecture discussions, testing, go-live support, issue resolution.
• Navigate complex system landscapes and debug integration problems across multiple systems.
