This hands-on, finance-focused leadership role drives ERP implementations, enhances financial reporting, and builds scalable accounting systems across multiple businesses.

Ideal candidates have extensive ERP implementation experience for small to mid-size companies, preferably with annual revenues of $100 million or less.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years leading ERP implementations.
• Experience with mid-market ERP for businesses with revenues ≤ $100M.
• Strong accounting knowledge: general ledger, month-end close, reporting.
• Proven ability to manage external implementation partners and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERP implementations and upgrades from planning to go-live.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
• Partner with CFOs, controllers, and execs to identify system requirements.
• Select and oversee external ERP partners and vendors.
• Evaluate systems and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• Develop standardized processes and best practices for implementations.

This is a hands‑on, finance‑focused leadership position responsible for driving ERP implementations, improving financial reporting, and building scalable accounting systems across multiple businesses.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience implementing ERP systems for small to mid‑size companies, particularly organizations with annual revenues of $100 million or less.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ERP implementations and upgrades across multiple portfolio companies from planning through go-live.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and implementation risks.
• Partner with CFOs, Controllers, and executive leadership to identify financial systems requirements.
• Select and oversee external ERP implementation partners and vendors.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend appropriate implementations, upgrades, or improvements.
• Develop standardized implementation processes and best practices across portfolio companies.
• Improve financial reporting, month‑end close processes, and accounting efficiency.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of experience leading ERP implementations, with multiple successful implementations completed.
• Extensive hands‑on experience implementing systems for businesses with annual revenues of $100 million or less.
• Strong accounting and finance knowledge, including general ledger, month‑end close, and financial reporting.
• Experience with NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar mid‑market ERP platforms.
• Proven ability to manage external implementation partners and multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience with private equity‑backed companies, multi‑entity businesses, or accounting advisory firms preferred.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 25–50%.
• Base salary of approximately $150,000+, flexible based on experience.
