The Bureau of Finance & Management in Pierre, South Dakota, is seeking an ERP Financial Operations Specialist as part of Project BISON. You will help evaluate ERP functionality, validate financial processes, and support user training and testing for the new ERP system.

Location is Pierre, SD; the role involves collaboration with state agencies, project team members, and vendor partners to ensure successful transition and adoption of the new system.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of basic accounting and financial principles.
• Familiarity with the State’s accounting system preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply applicable laws, rules, and policies.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and MS Query; ability to learn new tools.

• Develop understanding of financial processes across State agencies and how BISON ERP supports them.
• Participate in working sessions to review system functionality and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support implementation activities and issue resolution.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT): review scenarios, run scripts, report issues.
• Perform system testing across modules and provide feedback on functionality.
• Assist in ERP training delivery to prepare users for new processes.
• Attend Project BISON meetings and contribute to discussions on testing and readiness.
