Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking an Enterprise Deployments – Senior IT Manager to lead large-scale ERP deployments, primarily SAP, across manufacturing sites and support functions. The role drives governance, cadence, and risk management, while coaching a network of program leaders and cross-functional teams.

You will guide change management, data migration, testing, release, and cutover activities, ensuring site readiness and enterprise standardization.

Qualifications

• Enterprise deployment leadership experience across ERP initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead senior program and project leaders in a matrix structure.
• Strong collaboration across business, technology, and external partners.
• Deep manufacturing domain knowledge and change readiness.
• Execution discipline in governance, planning, cutover, and risk controls.
• Ability to communicate complex delivery tradeoffs to executives.
• Experience managing SI/partner ecosystems and delivering outcomes.
• History of building durable enterprise capabilities and leadership pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise deployment strategy, governance, playbooks, and performance metrics.
• Direct roadmap and capacity planning for multiple concurrent deployments.
• Coordinate resource planning, sequencing, and interdependencies.
• Provide concise, fact-based readiness and risk insights to executives.
