Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria, IL, is seeking an Enterprise Deployments Senior IT Manager to lead large-scale ERP deployments, with SAP as the primary landscape.

The role directs a global, multi-site organization and reports to the Deployment leadership, focusing on governance, risk management, and measurable business outcomes. You will guide program and project leaders, ensure site readiness, manage change and release plans, and drive data migration, testing, and training.

Qualifications

• Enterprise deployment leadership across multiple sites, business units or regions; SAP deployment experience strongly preferred.
• Leader of Leaders experience in a matrixed environment.
• Collaborates with peers across a matrix to drive enterprise priorities and deliver outcomes; fosters shared accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise deployment strategy and portfolio leadership.
• Guide program and project management leaders; establish integrated plans and critical-path management.
• Create a strong operating cadence across business, site, product, platform, architecture, security, infrastructure, data and supplier teams.
• Intervene decisively when execution is off track and align leaders on recovery plans.
