Job summary

Dyersburg State Community College seeks a Programmer/Analyst to provide primary technical support for Ellucian Banner Student and related systems. You will automate data dashboards, support Banner ingredients like BDM/OTS, and drive cross‑department workflow automations.

Strong SQL/Java experience and a collaborative mindset are essential. Responsibilities include data analysis, migration support, and troubleshooting across student services, financial aid, and related platforms.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in a computer-related field.
• Experience using problem-solving and root-cause analysis for multi-system issues.
• Experience with SQL and modern languages such as Java.
• Knowledge of Oracle relational databases.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Ellucian Banner Student across student services.
• Build and automate SQL/Argos dashboards and reports for data-driven decisions.
• Support Banner Document Management and OTS, including automation and scripting.
• Automate processes with Automic/UC4 for cross-department workflows.
• Assist with Banner patches and data migrations; analyze Banner datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
• Support Slate, Remark, Axiom, and CPOS related needs as requested.
• Ensure data integrity and transformations during migrations.
