Job summary

Dyersburg State Community College seeks a Programmer/Analyst to provide technical and consulting support for Ellucian Banner Student, develop dashboards, automate workflows, and support Banner components across campus.

The role requires SQL, Java, Oracle knowledge, problem solving, and collaboration with campus partners; an associate degree and several years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer-related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Experience diagnosing issues with multi-system integrations using problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with SQL and Java.
• Knowledge of Oracle relational database concepts.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across campus partners.
• Willingness to expand knowledge base and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and consulting support for Ellucian Banner Student and related Student Services aspects.
• Build and automate SQL/Argos dashboards and reports to support data-driven decisions.
• Support Banner DDM/OTS including JavaScript parsing, document workflows, and batch scripts.
