The Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Transformation & Enablement organization team is hiring an mid-level ERP Business Analyst to support their corporate-wide business transformation leveraging the SAP S/4HANA platform and partner products. This particular role sits within the EBDT Portfolio and is assigned to the Tax Team within the Finance ART.

What You Will Be Doing:

In this role, you will support process design, system configuration, testing, and training. This role will require you to have both business and technical acumen in order to support functional spec definition, technical solution design and development estimate efforts. Your ability to develop a technical solution with innovative and leading technologies through performance of system configuration, assist with clarification of requirements, and performance of component and integration testing activities is key to transformation delivery.

You will work in a scaled agile scrum team comprised of business representatives and IT employees to complete system configuration and software development based on business requirements. Major applications that will be utilized in this position will include SAP S4, integration with Accounting and Tax Solutions, Document Management Systems, and Data Analytics Systems.

Who You Are:

You have a strong background in SAP software, with experience in implementing various SAP components and ensuring their long-term health and efficiency through operational and maintenance (O&M) support, also known as sustainment. Ability to use your skills in configuring SAP and integration with other partner products to meet the specific needs of organizations. Your expertise is rooted in the tax accounting domain, where you have a deep understanding of USGAAP, tax accounting and regulations, tax provisions, and indirect taxes such as VAT. With a comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle, you're able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, making you a valuable asset in a variety of roles.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Experience with SAP Software implementation
2. Experience with SAP O&M/Sustainment
3. Experience with SAP configuration
4. Domain experience within tax accounting (i.e., USGAAP, tax accounting and regulations, tax provisions, VAT, etc)
5. Understanding of software development life cycle
6. Ability to facilitate cross functional discussions and solution development
7. Effective communication skills both oral and written
8. Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
9. US Citizenship required to due system access

Desired Skills:

1. Degree in information systems and/ or financial discipline such as Accounting, Finance, Business Analysis
2. Tax Software Implementation Experience - Vertex or similar, automation of VAT, Oracle TRCS, etc.
3. International Tax Experience
4. Experience with SAP integration and automation of sales and use tax calculations, Value Added Taxes (VAT), and tax reporting and filing.
5. Experience with Agile Methodology
6. Exposure to Automated Testing Methodologies
7. Relevant SAP certification

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $93,800 - $162,610. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
