Job summary

IMS, part of Omnicom, seeks a dynamic Director of IT to lead ERP solutions, analytics, and QA, ensuring reliable business systems across supply chain, finance, and operations. This leader guides four managers, aligns technology roadmaps with business goals, and drives measurable improvements in throughput and data security.

Reporting to the VP of IT, the role emphasizes AI adoption, API and non-API integrations, and enterprise data governance while maintaining compliance and cost discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in information systems, computer science, business, or related field.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex ERP-based solutions and business processes in distribution, supply chain, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, warehousing, transportation, or finance.
• 5+ years leading managers or multiple technology teams and 10+ years of enterprise applications/ERP experience.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP delivery, business systems analysis, production support, QA, non-API integrations (EDI and batch/file-based), and BI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead four functional managers and develop succession and professional growth plans.
• Own ERP-related applications, business analysis, support, QA, and analytics reporting.
• Collaborate with IT leadership on budgets, vendor performance, and strategic investments.
• Establish KPIs for service, quality, delivery, and productivity; drive improvements.
• Oversee integration readiness, including non-API integrations (EDI, batch/file-based).
• Champion AI and automation to improve throughput, quality, and risk handling.
