Metals USA Flat Rolled Group in Northbrook, IL is seeking an Accounting Clerk to manage inventory and cost accounting, process invoices, and support billing activities. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate coursework preferred.
• Experience in accounting, billing, inventory receiving or administrative roles desirable.
• Familiarity with inventory costing, job costing and ERP-based cost accounting preferred.
• Order entry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Receives inventory and records purchases and receipts in ERP accurately.
• Calculates inventory costs based on jobs, materials, labor and overhead.
• Reviews purchase orders, invoices, receiving records and shipping docs for accuracy.
• Maintains inventory accounting records and supports valuations.
• Processes sales invoices and supports billing with internal/external systems.
• Communicates discrepancies and supports timely reporting to stakeholders.
