Job summary

HarbourVest Partners is seeking an Associate - Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to support the Director, ERM with maintaining risk frameworks, incident management and buildout of risk metrics across enterprise operations and technology.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in ERM, strong analytical skills, excellent communication and the ability to translate complex risk concepts for cross‑functional teams. Hybrid work arrangement in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years experience in enterprise risk management or a similar role (Senior Associate level).
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint required; ServiceNow or similar GRC tool experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the enterprise/operational risk frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements
• Facilitate the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement and monitor risk mitigation strategies and action plans
• Support the ERM Incident Management Program through risk event triage
• Utilize AI to enhance risk analytics
• Provide training and support on risk management approaches
• And other responsibilities as required
