Job summary

Harvard Business Publishing in Boston seeks a Senior Program Manager, Enterprise Risk Management to lead the enterprise risk program and strengthen resilience across the global business.

Reporting to the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, you will build ERM frameworks, partner with leaders, and deliver risk insights to the Board with dashboards and training to foster risk-aware governance.

Qualifications

• Experience building or maturing risk management frameworks/programs in a complex organization.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate risk into business impact.
• Executive presence and experience engaging with senior leadership and/or boards.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise risk management, compliance, legal or related field.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise Risk Management: Drive the evolution of ERM framework, including risk identification, signal tracking, assessment, prioritization, and monitoring across the organization.
• Enable Risk‑Informed Decision‑Making: Integrate ERM into business planning and financial forecasting processes to support risk‑adjusted decisions.
• Collaborate with leaders across units to embed risk awareness into planning, forecasting, and operations.
• Assess Enterprise & Emerging Risks: AI-driven disruption, cybersecurity, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and global market dynamics.
• Deliver Executive & Board Reporting: Develop clear risk dashboards and reports for senior leadership and Audit & Risk Committee.
• Strengthen Risk Culture & Governance: Provide tools, guidance, and training to foster a risk-aware culture and governance practices.
• Support Resilience & Preparedness: Lead crisis management, business continuity, and resilience planning with cross-functional teams.
