Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Analyst to support risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and control across the organization. You will contribute to the ERM team overseeing RCSA, Controls Testing, Issue Management, GRC, Third-Party Risk, policy framework, and technology risk programs.

The role emphasizes executing the Issue Management program, developing reporting and training, and driving continuous improvement while aligning with SOX,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Entry level understanding of risk management principles, internal controls, audit practices, SOX, or banking operations.
• Entry level understanding of three lines of defense (e.g., banking operations, information technology, SOX, compliance, risk management, audit).
• Knowledge of risk management tools and systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, CoPilot, PowerPoint).
• Willing to pursue COSO, COBIT, NIST, FFIEC and advanced certifications (e.g., CISA, CERP, ISACA, CIA, CISSP, CPA).
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks across the organization.
• Support programs like RCSA, Controls Testing, Issue Management, GRC Platform, Third-Party Risk, Policy Framework, and Technology and Information Security Risk Management.
• Execute the Issue Management program following defined methodologies and reporting needs.
• Perform periodic assessments and document results; support corrective actions.
• Process issue maintenance requests accurately and timely per procedures.
