Job summary

FuturePlan, part of Ascensus, seeks a Retirement Plan Consultant to support plan sponsors and financial advisors on ERISA compliance, plan design and government reporting. You will serve as the expert on testing, 5500, loans and distributions, while assisting with operation and document updates.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years ERISA experience, strong data analysis, and solid communication skills. You will collaborate with coordinators, auditors and asset holders to ensure accuracy and

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years ERISA experience in retirement industry.
• Experience analyzing financial data.
• Knowledge of plan design, 5500, testing and IRS/DoL compliance.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as contact for plan sponsors and advisors on ERISA compliance and governmental reporting.
• Manage testing, 5500 preparation, loans and distributions for assigned plans.
• Educate clients on IRS/DoL obligations and assist with plan design and document updates.
• Coordinate annual testing and valuation reports with coordinators and asset holders.
• Ensure timely filing of Form 5500 and assist auditors as needed.
