Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on litigation experience in a law firm.
• Experience in life, health and disability insurance and ERISA preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal court practice and procedures.
• Strong writing, communication and oral advocacy skills; deposition and courtroom experience a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple case projects and deadlines and to work independently.
• Strong academic credentials, superior research skills and excellent analytical skills.
• Judicial clerkship or externship a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the ERISA Insurance Litigation Team on active matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda as needed.
• Help manage multiple case deadlines and document review for ongoing matters.
