Job summary

Maynard Nexsen is seeking an Associate with over 3 years of hands-on litigation experience to assist its ERISA Insurance Litigation Team. The ideal candidate will be situated in one of our office locations.

The firm emphasizes a client-first approach and offers an opportunity to support a dynamic insurance practice group with an emphasis on life, health and disability insurance as well as ERISA. Strong writing and analytical skills are essential, with deposition and courtroom experience

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Experience in life, health and disability insurance and ERISA preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal court practice and procedures.
• Strong writing, communication and oral advocacy skills; deposition and courtroom experience a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple case projects and deadlines and to work independently.
• Strong academic credentials, superior research skills and excellent analytical skills.
• Judicial clerkship or externship a plus.
