Job summary

Elizabeth City State University’s Entrepreneurship Research and Incubation Center (ERIC) seeks a Program Assistant to support daily operations, events, partnerships, and student engagement. You will work closely with the Director to translate strategy into action and ensure efficient, well-coordinated programs.

The role emphasizes coordination, administrative support, and interaction with students, faculty, and community partners to advance entrepreneurship and regional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Communications, Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in program coordination, event planning, higher education, or administrative support.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations, programming, and administrative functions of the ERIC Center.
• Coordinate events, programs, partnerships, and student engagement initiatives.
• Translate strategy into action by coordinating logistics and supporting students and partners.
• Maintain systems to enable efficient center operations.
