Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Ergonomics Specialist in Gaithersburg, MD to provide ergonomic care for client employees at the Health Center. The role emphasizes proactive ergonomic strategies, hazard identification, and KPI monitoring in a real-world embedded client setting.

The ideal candidate has experience in ergonomic assessments and strong preference for industrial ergonomics background; CPE or CIE certifications are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting ergonomic assessments in workplace environments.
• Industrial ergonomics experience strongly preferred.
• CPE or CIE certification strongly preferred; willingness to obtain within agreed timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe workplace environments through proactive ergonomic strategies.
• Identify and assess ergonomic hazards in various workplace environments.
• Operate within an embedded client setting, adapting to site-specific needs and culture.
• Track KPI’s and produce clear, accurate, timely technical reports for evaluations and recommendations.
• Instruct and facilitate training sessions on ergonomic principles and practices.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term ergonomic risk reduction solutions.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with timelines and deliverables.
• Perform Ergonomic Assessments including office and MMH workspaces.
• Produce technical reports using standard documentation procedures.
