Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a Full Time Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist to provide expert care for client employees at our Health Center.

The role focuses on ergonomic assessments, early intervention, and coordinated care with on-site teams. A BOC Certified Athletic Trainer with BLS is required, and ergonomic certification is preferred. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accredited Athletic Training program.
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (AHA/ARC) required; ACLS may be required per contract scope.
• Ergonomic specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement early intervention programs including musculoskeletal examinations and injury prevention education.
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and propose preventive strategies.
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs.
• Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures.
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes promptly and accurately.
• Maintain patient health records to ensure up-to-date information.
• Participate in meetings and task forces.
• Other duties as assigned.
