Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist to support an on-site program in North Reading, MA. You will implement ergonomic practices, trained personnel, and first aid oversight as part of the Environment Health and Safety function.

You will lead training programs, analyze tasks for safety issues, and provide initial medical assessments for injuries. Real-time coaching and recordkeeping are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ergonomic and safety training.
• Ability to perform biomechanical assessments.
• Experience with incident recording and reporting.
• Knowledge of injury prevention in industrial settings.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs on ergonomic practices and injury prevention.
• Proactively analyze tasks for ergonomic and safety issues and conduct assessments.
• Deliver initial medical assessment for workplace injuries and determine escalation needs.
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping of incidents and trainings.
• Educate associates on safe movement techniques to prevent injuries.
• Evaluate injury trends and develop training initiatives.
• Provide accommodation recommendations for medical restrictions.
• Engage with team in operations and coach on safe work practices.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
• Work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward terms.
