Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Injury Prevention Specialist to join the Workplace Health & Safety team in Detroit. The role focuses on leading onsite injury prevention, proactive safety, and ergonomic training to improve movement techniques and reduce soreness or injury among associates.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, are Certified Athletic Trainers, and possess First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Must be a Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC or state).
• Must have valid First Aid, CPR and AED certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite injury prevention and proactive safety initiatives.
• Design and implement ergonomic interventions based on risk assessments and injury trends.
• Conduct workplace evaluations to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Provide ergonomic education and coaching to Associates and partners.
