Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a liaison to support the safe implementation of our safety/ergonomic program at the facility. You will interact daily with Team Members, investigate illness cases to ensure preventive measures are in place, and perform audits across shifts.

You will enter data into Plant View and other tracking systems, facilitate training, and assist with equipment fittings for new Team Members. The role requires strong communication and basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ yrs experience in a food manufacturing facility.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management, written, verbal and comprehension.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills including data entry to Plant View, Excel and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison for safe implementation of ergonomic/safety program.
• Interact daily with Team Members in HMP program; investigate illness cases for root cause prevention.
• Log and follow up work orders in Plant View; perform ergonomic/safety audits and input data into tracking systems.
• Facilitate ergonomic program and awareness training at hourly level; assist with equipment fittings for new Team Members.
• Handle other tasks as assigned.

Job Details

This position will be serving as a liaison in the proper implementation of our safety/ergonomic program. Tasks This position requires daily interaction with Team Members in the HMP program investigation of new illness cases to ensure that effective root cause prevention was attained and preventative measures are being followed on each shift. Requires writing and follow up of work orders in Plant view performing various ergonomic/safety audits and entering information to tracking systems. This position requires facilitating ergonomic program, awareness training at the hourly level, knife sharpness audits, assisting AHTs with fitting new Team Members with the proper equipment and other tasks as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or Equivalent preferred

Experience

1+ yrs. experience in a food manufacturing facility required.

Communication

Ability to communicate with all levels of management. Written, verbal and comprehension.

Computer Skills

Applicant must have basic to intermediate computer skills to include basic data entry to Plant view Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
