This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• These positions could work in any department of the Hide/Tannery facility. Must be able to routinely push, pull, lift and carry at least 75 pounds or more if required. Must work in extreme hot, cold (40 degrees to 90 degrees) and wet environments, use of hands and arms above shoulder level and stand 8-10 hours per day. Some areas in the Hides/Tannery will vary their start and end times on a daily basis.
• Note: These positions may involve the use of a knife and hook to trim hides or to operate large pieces of equipment. May involve working with pork skins.
• Departments in this area may have staggered start and end times. This facility operates up to six days a week, from Monday through Saturday.
• Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180-day rehire waiting period and a 3-time limit.
