Job summary

Premise Health in San Antonio, TX is seeking a PRN Injury Prevention Specialist to support our on-site Health Center. Flexible shifts between 5 AM and 2 AM provide scheduling variety while contributing to employee wellness and safety.

You will perform ergonomic assessments, lead movement and injury-prevention trainings, and collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams. Requires health/fitness experience, OSHA knowledge, group exercise background, ergonomics, a health sciences degree, CPR

Qualifications

Experience in Health/Fitness Industry and Occupational Health and Safety, with OSHA knowledge preferred.
Group Exercise Programming experience.
Ergonomics experience.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Health Sciences or equivalent experience.
Current CPR certification with hands-on training (AHA/ARC/BLS).
Current First Aid training (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and suggest preventive strategies.
Lead group and individual training on functional movement and injury prevention programs.
Provide client follow-up, care coordination, and performance recommendations based on movement and ergonomics.
Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to support injury prevention and wellness initiatives.
Complete documentation and administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain patient health records to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Participate in meetings and task forces as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
