Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a PRN Injury Prevention Specialist to join our Port St. Lucie team.

This role blends ergonomic testing, education, and proactive prevention to reduce workplace injuries in collaboration with on-site physical therapists. Responsibilities include ergonomic assessments, movement screening, and developing prevention programs, with a flexible 4-8 hour weekly schedule and compensation of $25.00–$30.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Minimum one year of experience.
• CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention.
• Experience in an industrial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits.
• Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs.
• Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury.
• Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees.
• Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics.
