Job summary

TRACHTE BUILDING SYSTEMS is seeking a capable program manager to lead erection services for complex building projects in Sun Prairie, WI. You will coordinate with internal teams and contractors, maintain schedules, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires a Civil Engineering/Construction Management background and 5+ years of multi-story construction experience, with NASCLA/GC licenses preferred. Travel and on-site leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in multi-story steel/light gauge and red-iron building construction.
• NASCLA license preferred or pursuing license; General Contractors License in one or more states considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain construction schedule and track all phases of open projects.
• Manage on-site contractor relationships and ensure proper erection practices.
• Review change orders and estimate costs; align schedules with contractors.
• Negotiate change orders with customer and/or contractors with Regional Sales Managers.
• Oversee construction site, labor/installation contractors and workers for quality and safety.
• Enforce OSHA safety guidelines and promote a safe workplace.
• Develop and maintain project cost/change controls and budgets.
