Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) Technician for the GI Lab in Rockwall, TX. This Full Time, day-shift role requires after-hour on-call shifts and averages 8 on-call shifts per month, including weekends, with a 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities include collecting patient data, performing procedures safely, reducing patient risk, documenting accurately, and assisting in admissions/transfers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of GI clinical experience required.
• ERCP experience preferred.
• BCLS certification prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurse.
• Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.
• Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.
• Documents accurately and appropriately.
• Assists in admission/transfer/discharge.
• In collaboration with nurse, adapts care to reflect age-specific and developmental considerations.
• Supports and meets regulatory requirements.
