Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography Technician (ERCP) for the Endo/GI Lab in Plano, TX. Work hours are PRN—As Needed (10A-7:30 pm), with flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call requirements.

The role involves collecting patient data, performing procedures safely, and collaborating with nurses to manage patient risk and care needs across age groups and cultural contexts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year GI clinical experience required.
• 1 year ERCP experience preferred.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurses.
• Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.
• Take action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.
• Documents accurately and appropriately.
• Assists in admission/transfer/discharge.
• Adapts care to reflect age-specific and developmental considerations in collaboration with nurses.
• Incorporates cultural/religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care in collaboration with the nurse.
