Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an ERCP Technician for the GI Lab in Rockwall. This full-time days position requires after-hour on-call shifts, averaging 8 monthly calls, including weekends, in a busy perioperative environment.

Responsibilities include collecting data, performing procedures safely, documenting results, and supporting admissions and discharges under nurse supervision. Requires high school diploma and GI experience; BCLS certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 1 year of GI clinical experience required.
• BCLS certification required prior to independent patient care.
• A high degree of confidentiality and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient data and reports significant findings to the nurse.
• Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.
• Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.
• Documents accurately and appropriately.
• Assists in admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Adapts care to age-specific and developmental considerations in collaboration with the nurse.
• Supports and meets regulatory requirements.
