The University of Michigan is seeking an experienced eRA Systems Manager within the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP). This role leads the enhancement and deployment of the ORSP CLM and acts as the primary liaison for ITS-related eRA systems, driving efficiency and standardized workflows across research administration.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of directly relevant experience.
• Strong technical proficiency with databases and data integrity.
• Experience with ERP or electronic research administration systems in higher education, or related sponsored projects office.
• Excellent project management, planning, and execution of system projects.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Commitment to data security and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy enhancements as the business owner of the ORSP CLM system and liaison for ITS eRA systems.
• Analyze business and user needs; document requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate user testing and address fixes with ITS and SMEs.
• Transform existing processes into integrated system workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities and optimize data capture and reporting.
• Support change management and training in partnership with Training and Communications managers.
