VCA TLC Pasadena Veterinary Specialty and Emergency in West Hollywood, CA is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor for our overnight team. Full-time schedule with competitive salary ($75,000–$90,000 per year) supports collaborative, high-stress emergency care.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in emergency veterinary medicine, RVT or VTS, and strong communication and training skills to mentor interns and staff in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in emergency veterinary medicine.
• RVT or VTS required.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and develop relationships.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service to ensure high client satisfaction and patient treatment.
• Work closely with technicians and assistants in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist and train associates and interns.
• Perform highly technical clinical procedures with life support techniques.
• Communicate efficiently with Criticalists, ER doctors, and team members.
• Administer medications and manage IV catheters and samples.
• Lead nursing rounds and relay patient status and plans clearly.
• Maintain ICU readiness and complete routine equipment checks and inventory.
• Support ER in admitting, assessment and stabilization of patients.
