Job summary

VCA TLC Pasadena Veterinary Specialty and Emergency in West Hollywood, CA, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead the overnight ICU team and ensure the highest standards of patient care. You will train staff, supervise technicians and interns, and collaborate with ER doctors to deliver rapid, compassionate care.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in emergency veterinary medicine, RVT or VTS certification, and a collaborative, client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in emergency veterinary medicine required.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and develop relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a focus on client service.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service ensuring high client satisfaction and patient care.
• Work closely with technicians and assistants in a fast-paced environment and train staff.
• Perform and supervise ICU procedures, manage records, and maintain readiness of ICU.
• Aide in admitting, assessment, and stabilization of emergency patients.
• Coordinate with specialty departments to ensure seamless shared-patient care.
