The PARC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an ER Veterinary Technician to join our 24/7 hospital family. You’ll support veterinarians in emergency cases, monitor anesthesia, perform in-house diagnostics, and help admit and discharge patients with compassionate, high‑quality care.

With 2+ years of emergency experience and ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT credentials encouraged, you’ll collaborate with doctors and support teams in a fast-paced setting, delivering life-saving care and maintaining calm efficiency

Qualifications

• 2+ years of emergency veterinary technician experience
• ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT credentials strongly encouraged
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail in fast-moving situations
• Comfort working with ICU patients and advanced diagnostics
• Calm, focused, and decisive under pressure
• Passionate about emergency and critical care medicine

Responsibilities

• Supporting veterinarians during emergency cases
• Delivering emergency first aid and advanced nursing care to injured or critical patients
• Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical and post-operative care
• Preparing patients and instruments for emergency procedures
• Obtaining and monitoring vital signs, including blood pressure and SpO₂
• Collecting lab samples and performing in-house diagnostics
• Operating digital radiography and advanced diagnostic equipment
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Accurately documenting patient histories and medical records
• Supporting patient flow through admissions, treatment, and discharge
• Maintaining clean, sterile, and organized treatment and exam areas
• Using safe restraint techniques and following hospital protocols
• Collaborating closely with doctors, technicians, and support teams
