The PARC in Fort Worth, part of Thrive Pet Healthcare, is seeking an ER Veterinary Technician to provide hands-on care across emergency services in a 24/7 hospital. You will assist veterinarians, monitor anesthesia, support surgical and post-operative care, and help manage admissions and discharges, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in emergency veterinary settings, with ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT credentials encouraged, and a calm, decisive approach

Qualifications

• 2+ years of emergency veterinary technician experience.
• ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT credentials encouraged.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail in fast-moving situations.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians during emergency cases.
• Deliver emergency first aid and advanced nursing care to critical patients.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical/post-operative care.
• Prepare patients and instruments for procedures.
• Obtain and monitor vital signs and collect lab samples.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and administer medications as prescribed.
• Document patient histories and medical records.
• Support patient flow from admission to discharge.
