Job summary
The PARC, part of Thrive Pet Healthcare, is seeking a full-time Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Technician for overnight shifts in Fort Worth, TX. You will provide advanced ICU nursing care, monitor critical patients, and support clinicians with complex cases.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years in emergency/ICU settings, with CVT/LVT/RVT credentials encouraged. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and mentor junior staff while ensuring top-quality patient care in a busy 24/7
Qualifications
- 2+ years of clinical experience in Emergency/ICU settings.
- ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT encouraged to apply.
- Experience monitoring critical patients and interpreting vitals.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced ICU nursing care for hospitalized patients.
- Monitor BP, ECG, SpO₂, EtCO₂ and lab results.
- Manage CRIs and complex fluid therapy with accurate dosing.
- Assist with central lines, NG tubes, and long-term catheters.
- Collaborate with veterinarians on evolving treatment plans.
- Mentor ER technicians and developing ICU staff.
