The PARC in Fort Worth, TX, part of Thrive Pet Healthcare, seeks a full‑time Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Technician to join their ICU team. You will provide advanced nursing care for hospitalized, high‑acuity patients, monitor vital signs, manage CRIs and complex therapies, and collaborate with veterinarians on evolving treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years in Emergency/ICU veterinary nursing.
• Experience with advanced nursing care for high‑acuity ICU patients.
• Ability to monitor vitals and interpret data for timely decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced ICU nursing care for hospitalized patients.
• Monitor data (BP, ECG, SpO2, EtCO2) and support medical decisions.
• Manage CRIs and multimodal drug infusions with accurate math.
• Maintain central lines, NG tubes, long‑term catheters, infection control.
• Support high‑risk anesthesia cases and postoperative recovery.
• Assist with advanced procedures and multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain clear, thorough medical records and shift continuity.
• Collaborate with veterinarians on evolving treatment plans.
• Mentor ER techs, assistants, and developing ICU staff.
