Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' New England Veterinary Center & Cancer Center in Windsor, CT is seeking Emergency Veterinary Technicians (2nd Shift) to join our team, with a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience.

You will provide high-quality veterinary care, triage and emergencies, assist during surgeries, monitor ICU patients, and maintain medical records. Credentialed ER technicians are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of veterinary technician experience (ER preferred but not required).
• Strong phlebotomy, catheter placement, and nursing skills.
• Experienced and/or credentialed technicians highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Triage and stabilize patients.
• Place IV catheters, draw blood, run in-house diagnostics.
• Monitor critical patients and assist with emergency procedures.
• Administer medications, CRIs, and blood products.
• Properly calculate medical math and administer medications.
• Provide clear, compassionate updates to clients.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, calm ICU environment.
