Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' New England Veterinary Center & Cancer Center in Windsor, Connecticut, is seeking Emergency Veterinary Technicians (2nd Shift) to join our team. Earn a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on your experience as a credentialed veterinary technician.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of veterinary technician experience (ER preferred).
• Strong phlebotomy, catheter placement, and nursing skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, emotionally charged situations.
• Kindness, teamwork, and a steady, supportive presence.
• Credentialed technicians are encouraged to apply; we love to teach.

Responsibilities

• Triage and stabilize patients.
• Place IV catheters, draw blood, run in-house diagnostics.
• Monitor critical patients and assist with emergencies.
• Administer medications, CRIs, and blood products.
• Perform medical math and administer meds as prescribed.
• Provide updates to clients and maintain records.
• Maintain a clean, safe ICU environment.
