George Washington University Hospital's Emergency Department seeks an experienced ER Registered Nurse to join a Level I Trauma Center. You will deliver critical care in a fast-paced ED, support trauma and acute emergent cases, and collaborate with dedicated physicians and nurses around the clock.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and commitment to teaching, research, and high-quality outcomes within GW Hospital's renowned ED.

Formación

• BSN preferred.
• DC RN License or eligibility.
• 1 year of clinical experience in an emergency department or critical care setting is preferred.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required.
• TNCC certification within 1 year of hire.
• Exceptional clinical skills and judgment.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and react effectively in emergencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a dynamic emergency department.
• Perform assessments, develop and implement treatment plans.
• Administer medications and monitor responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research opportunities.
