Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is seeking a part-time Telemetry EKG Monitor Technician to continuously monitor and interpret EKGs for patients on telemetry. You will admit and discharge patients from central monitoring and alert the team to rhythm changes.

The role requires basic EKG interpretation skills, CPR certification, and completion of the basic EKG exam within 12 weeks. Schedule is 24 hours per week with 7a-7p shifts and a pay range listed in the posting.

Formación

• High School Graduate or GED/HSED.
• 12 months of arrhythmia interpretation preferred.
• CPR Certification.
• Successful completion of Basic EKG exam within first 12 weeks of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and interpret EKGs of patients on telemetry.
• Admit and discharge patients from central monitoring.
• Interpret and alert team members of EKG rhythms.
• Notify staff for lead wires off, electrode changes and proper lead placement.
