Universal Health Services is seeking an ED Tele Tech / Unit Clerk to support Southwest Health hospitals in Wildomar and Murrieta, California. The role combines telemetry monitoring with clerical duties to ensure smooth operations in a busy Emergency Department.

The position involves continuous rhythm observation, timely reporting to nursing staff, and accurate documentation. It may require floating between Inland Valley and Rancho Springs facilities to meet operational needs while maintaining

Formación

• BLS preferred
• Basic dysrhythmia certification course
• One year as telemetry technician/clerk in an acute care facility preferred

Responsabilidades

• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly report changes to nursing staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient data and monitor screens; identify equipment malfunctions and communicate urgent information.
• Provide unit clerk duties: order transcription, message distribution, and coordination of communication between nursing staff, ancillary departments, patients and families.
• Maintain organized nursing station, process physician orders, manage supplies, and assist with patient census functions (admissions, discharges, transfers).
• May float to the other Southwest Health facilities as needed with orientation and competency validation
